In October I was asked by the Ohio University alumni magazine to photograph the OU-Zanesville nursing program for a story commemorating the 45th anniversary of the program’s founding. The assignment was simple enough; arrange a day to visit the school and document the students and teachers in their element, but was made truly enjoyable by the friendly and candid nature of everyone at OU-Z. Some of the students even invited me to photograph them during a demonstration exam, because apparently exams aren’t stressful enough. Or maybe it was just a sign of “I’ve got this” confidence from the students. Either way, I’m very grateful to the alumni magazine, Ohio Today, for the assignment and to everyone at OU-Z for letting me spend the day with them.
